What makes Blindly different?
Blindly puts personality and conversation first. Photos start frosted, so you can discover someone through their profile, shared interests and conversation before seeing a clear photo.
When do profile photos become clear?
Meaningful messages from both people build connection progress. Once you’ve both completed your part, Reveal unlocks and your photos become clear. Photos stay fully frosted until then — they do not gradually sharpen. One person cannot unlock Reveal alone.
Is Blindly free?
Yes. At launch, you’ll be able to discover profiles, match, chat and unlock Reveal without paying. Blindly+ is optional and is not required for the core experience.
Can I pay to unlock Reveal faster?
No. Reveal cannot be purchased, accelerated or bypassed with Blindly+.
Do I have to use Spark?
No. Spark is an optional conversation starter. You can always choose Chat instead and start a normal conversation.
Can I end a conversation before Reveal?
Absolutely. You’re always free to unmatch and leave a conversation. There’s no obligation to reach Reveal. You can also block or report a profile.
Will Blindly have profile verification?
Optional profile verification is planned, not currently available. Verification in our demo is simulated. We’ll share more when the live feature is ready; verification is not a guarantee of a safe date.
When and where is Blindly launching?
Blindly launches in Sweden on December 10, 2026 at 17:00 Swedish time (CET). The launch is for people aged 18 or older across Sweden. Availability outside Sweden has not been announced.
How do I get notified at launch?
Choose Get notified at launch, enter your email, confirm that you are 18 or older and live in Sweden, and agree to launch emails. Signing up is optional.
How do I know I’m on the list?
The form displays a success message once your request has been accepted. New and existing addresses receive the same message. There is no automatic confirmation email yet. Existing beta signups are kept; you do not need to sign up again to hear about launch.
Does joining create a Blindly account?
No. The notification list is separate from the app. It saves your request to hear about launch; it does not create an app account.
Can I leave the waitlist?
Yes. Email support@meetblindly.com to withdraw your consent or ask us to remove your signup. You can read more under How we use your information in the notification form.
Where can I get help or report a concern?
Contact support@meetblindly.com for help. In the app, you can also block or report a profile if something feels wrong.
